Dining

Communal dining is at the heart of the St Mark’s experience.  Students enjoy delicious, freshly-prepared meals while having the chance to connect with fellow students and broaden their world perspective.

The Dining Hall brings together the whole St Mark’s community.  Whether seated inside the Dining Hall or outside on the adjoining alfresco area, students are able to gather together for meals and interact with each other on a daily basis as there is always someone to talk to. Fees include three cooked meals a day, including on weekends and during vacation periods.

A packed lunch and late and early dinners are also available for students who have university or other commitments.

Formal Hall is a longstanding and enjoyable tradition at St Mark’s. It represents the College coming together as a community and is a key opportunity for the conversations that enrich College life. Twice a week (Monday and Wednesday) students, staff and invited guests come together for a three-course meal with table service. Academic and professional guests are regularly invited to Formal Hall, giving students the opportunity to connect with future mentors.

The quality and choice of food served is excellent and dietary requirements are well catered for.  There are common kitchen facilities available across the College for the storage and preparation of food.
