Sporting and Exercise Facilities

Sporting facilities include five grass tennis courts, a portable basketball ring, a gymnasium, table tennis table, a dart board and a full sized billiard table.  The Aquatic Centre not far away provides first-class swimming facilities.  The University of Adelaide has established gym facilities at the University, and the adjacent parklands allow for jogging, cycling and other sporting opportunities.

Gymnasium

A new gymnasium and sports pavilion has been constructed at St Mark’s on the eastern side of the tennis courts.  This has been made possible by a bequest from the family of the late Allister McLeod, an Old Collegian.  The pavilion is a magnificent facility which is fully equipped with a range of weight training and cardiovascular equipment. Training programs can be designed by appointment.

The Pavilion was opened in March 2005 at a Gala Day, which also celebrated the College’s 80th Birthday.
