“Supporting Growth & Change”
Refurbishment of the “Old Library”
The story of St Mark’s College is one of growth and change.
Our culture is energetic, diverse, welcoming and student led. A memorable and enjoyable College experience is made possible because of the diversity of our students, who hail from rural, regional and metropolitan South Australia, interstate and overseas.
St Mark’s continues to foster an environment that enables its students to focus on their university studies, maintain a healthy balance of body and mind and socialise with friends. From beautiful heritage buildings to modern, state of the art spaces, it is our philosophy of continuous improvement and our capacity to effect change which will ensure we are responsive to the needs of each generation of students.
Following the completion of East Wing in 2015, which incorporates the Ian and Pamela Wall Academic Centre, there is a significant unmet demand for further group study space that offers flexibility to incorporate meeting and event facilities and outdoor relaxing and dining areas. To this end, we are excited to embark upon a major refurbishment of the “Old Library” above the Grenfell Price Dining Hall.
This new development will provide students with a vibrant, modern and flexible space with an external design that complements the buildings and grounds of the central courtyard and tennis courts.
Thank you for your generous support. Your annual gift, no matter the size, enables the College to flourish.

“The plans for the old library are great – not only will we have another space to study and meet, but it will double up as a function area and the balcony will provide the perfect vista overlooking the tennis courts”
