College Play - "Don's Party"

Entertaining & Vivid portrayal of characters...

"Don's Party", by David Williamson, was first performed in Australia in 1972 and is a satirical look at Australian life in 1969. Set at a party on the night of the Australian Federal Elections, David Williamson's play is complete with male chauvinism, with a touch of mid-life crisis, blended with politics and beer.

The St Mark's Players performed this play to packed houses on 25th and 26th May in the Ballroom of Downer House. The casting of the  play enabled the characters to come to life and give everyone who attended an accurate and engaging glimpse of life in the 60s in Australia.
