Dining is integral to College life, and the Dining Hall provides a flexible space for student meals and College events. The tradition of Formal Hall continues to the present day with students dining communally four nights a week as one big family. All meals are included in student fees, including on weekends and during vacation periods.
In addition to a late and early meal ordering system for students who have evening commitments, common kitchen facilities are available across the College for a snack or storage of food. But really, when all meals are provided why would you be cooking for yourself!
In collaboration with the St Mark’s College Charitable Foundation, cooking classes are run on a regular basis and students are taught by our chefs the basic skills of cooking and food handling techniques.
