Settlers, Statesmen and Scholars: A Tour of St Mark’s College

Take a journey through time and join us for a tour of the architectural and cultural heritage of St Mark’s College. Hear how Adelaide’s historic families built North Adelaide while Australia’s founding fathers built a nation. See where the Australian Constitution was drafted, hear how Adelaide established its first university residential college, explore historic Downer House and Stables (built 1876-7), Grenfell Price Lodge (built 1879) and Walkley Cottage (South Australia’s oldest still-standing brick building, built 1839), and breathe in the life of a thriving academic community.

Join a free 45 minute wheel-chair accessible tour.
