Open Day: Sunday 15 August - join a tour and see what we do at St Mark's
Open Day at St Mark's
Visit St Mark's on Sunday 15 August when we will be open to show all prospective students and their families what happens here. Tours will be conducted throughout the day. ...
Your Room

Rooms at St Mark's vary in size and configuration throughout the eleven residential buildings. First year students live in Newland Building, Memorial Building or Hawker Annex. Students are allocated their room in their first year and in subsequent years they nominate their preferences with allocation determined according to the number of years at university and in College.
Students are most welcome to decorate their rooms according to sensible guidelines. The rooms are transformed at the beginning of the academic year after they have been used by conference guests during the long, summer vacation. Each room becomes an expression of the student's individuality:
-
all rooms are single rooms with telephone, voice mail and internet connection.
-
furniture includes a bed, a desk and a wardrobe.
-
students can supply their own linen or it may be provided and changed by the College for a weekly fee of $17.50 (incl. GST).
-
all rooms are secured with locks and students access their rooms using a smart card system.
-
there are 136 rooms in buildings where students share unisex bathrooms, a laundry and a kitchen/utility room by walking along the corridor.
-
there are 94 rooms where students live in two or three bedroom apartments ( with each apartment having a shared bathroom (with washing machine), a kitchen and a living area.
