IT @ St Mark's
All computers in every room can be connected to the College network, providing internet access, printer access and file storage.
Students are able to get assistance from the two Student Networks and Systems Managers who are accessible by contacting an internal Help Desk. Rules governing the use of computers are contained in an Agreement which is signed by all students at the beginning of each year.
The Computer Room is open 24 hours a day and has five Windows computers. The Library also has five Windows computers. A wide range of software for both sets of machines is available. All computers are networked to laser printers and scanning facilities are available.
The College has an intranet service in Wiki format where students have an active role in producing and accessing information including:
- news items
- calendar items
- an image gallery
- academic resources (e.g past exam papers)
- Help Guides for IT
- surveys
- student forms
- internet usage control
IT resources include:
- colour scanner
- digital projector
- digital video camera
- graphic design software
