Old Collegians' AGM
The AGM will be held on Friday 30th July at 6.15 pm in the Ballroom.
All Old Collegians are welcome and are encouraged to attend to ensure a quorum is achieved.
Following the meeting we will have Bridgette Baumgartner from Chateau Tanunda showcasing some of their fantastic range of wines and demonstrating how decanting can affect the taste of wines.
There will also be antipasto platters to cleanse the palate.
The cost will be $10 a head.
Old Collegians' Football
A glorious autumn day greeted those Old Collegians who dusted off the cobwebs and scraped the dried mud off their boots for Old Collegians' Football. A modest turnout ensured that all the current collegians got a run with either side and used this opportunity to try and secure a spot in the team for the following week.
The Old Collegians who did come out for a run thoroughly enjoyed it although some may have been a bit stiff the next day/week.
The current Collegians were victors by a convincing margin.
St Mark's Golf Club
Golf is back on the calendar at St Mark's as the Old Collegians' Association proceeds with the set up of a Social Golf Club affiliated with Golf S.A. Membership of the St Mark's Golf Club will be $50.00 and will cover affiliation fees with Golf S.A. and therefore Golf Australia. Part of this fee provides individual player liability insurance in case that drive goes wayward! Affiliation also provides access to member days at the four major clubs as well as the opportunity to attend seminars on rules of the game. Membership also includes access to the national handicapping system.
We look forward to catching up with those who can attend our next Golf Day as the numbers for the St Mark's Golf Club gradually build up.
Remember all levels of golfers are welcome for what is a fun day.
